Kelly Lovejoy
Kelly Lovejoy is a farmer, writer, crafter, and devoted dog‑lover. A long‑time unschooling mom to two grown sons, Cameron (38) and Duncan (30), she launched the very first unschooling conference, the Live and Learn Unschooling Conference, in 2002 in Columbia, South Carolina. Her pioneering work created the blueprint for the unschooling gatherings that followed, including LIFE is Good, which was modeled after the community‑centered spirit she sparked. Kelly’s blend of creativity, hospitality, and deep commitment to unschooling helped shape a movement and inspired over two decades of connection and celebration.
